CASE STUDY 1 : MANAGEMENT CONSULTING

Living from grant to grant makes it difficult for non-profits to proactively manage their finances and plan ahead. When a major urban health care system was awarded a significant increase in federal and state funding, it called on HMC to design a plan that would put this appropriation to the best use over the long-term.

We analyzed current operational capabilities (financial, information and human resource management), evaluated potential client-community needs and developed a blueprint for expanding the provider's geographic reach and enhancing program offerings.

The outcome? A smart use of resources that moved more people into productive lives.
